Jenny Clarke is a chartered physiotherapist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, and also registered with, and recognised by, most health insurance companies for almost 19 years. Though she specialises in problems relating to muscles, joints and connective tissues, she offers a wide range of treatments for all ages and activity related ailments.
Quality, registered physiotherapy services
A lot of physiotherapists now barely touch and just give out an exercise chart based on a very minimal assessment with the patient fully dressed! I pride myself on being as thorough as possible and doing as much hands-on treatment as I feel is appropriate to best help the patient recover. I don’t like to just hand out exercises and see you in a month because you won’t be motivated and committed with your exercises and obviously won’t improve.
I spend my time explaining the diagnosis and the reasons for the suggested treatment along with 3D models and body charts. This is to be sure the patient fully understands not only what is wrong but also how it came about and also how we’re going to fix it.
My ethos is there is no point in a superficial quick fix when you could actually clear the cause, not just the symptoms and achieve a long term resolution for the problem.
Health Related Partners
I regularly liaise with the GPS if there is a need for onward referrals to consultants or for further testing such as x-rays or MRI scans.
Although I liaise and work very closely with both GPs and consultants within the NHS I am unable to offer any NHS funded physiotherapy appointments.
